LOW COST NETWORK OF INTELLECTUAL SENSORS

LOW COST NETWORK OF INTELLECTUAL SENSORS

The suggested network is intended for the realization of distributed equipment of data collection and treatment for the systems of address fire protective signaling, distributed systems of temperature monitoring for elevators, systems of control and indication of elevator position, individual light control of building entrances, storage territories, automation systems of various technological processes and other applications which require the availability of distributed system of sensors or executive devices with bidirectional data exchange with speed up to 40 kb/s.

The basic network parameters are resulted below:

Carrier frequency of data transfer

5 to 40 kHz depending on the final application

Method of data transfer

Each period of carrier frequency is used for the transfer or reception of one information bit

Information word length

4 to 16 bit, the support of the broadcast mode for the simultaneous information transfer to 256 knot groups

Maximum amount of knots in the network (knots with different data length can simultaneously exist in the network)

Maximum supply voltage of network knots

25 V

Typical consumption current of knot

3 to 20 mA depending on the type of the additional knot hardware

The network can be used for the systems construction of fire and protective signaling. It can also be used for low-speed systems of the collection of telemetry information (granaries, storages and others), ecological monitoring systems, remote control light system, various systems such as Clever house and others.

Unlike existing networks that are used by known protocols as Profibus, Modbus, CAN, LIN, X10, Linet, Ethernet, information and voltage for net knots in the developed network are passed on a two-drive connection line without the use of specialized modem microcircuits. This allows essentially to reduce the cost of the net knot and the system on the whole. In addition, the subsystem of information collection and interface part are realized with the use of one low cost microcontroller of the general assignment that allows substantially to reduce the cost of the net knot.

MODEM FOR RADIO STATIONS AND RADIOTELEPHONES

MODEM FOR RADIO STATIONS AND RADIOTELEPHONES

Modem (modulator and demodulator) isa device for data transfer through the communication channel, characterized by a set frequency band. For instance, the radio channel is such a communication channel. The radio modem is a combination device that consists of modem and radio receiver and transmitter. It is used for data transfer with the use of the radio channel. There is a typical situation when a customer already has existing department language radio communication (with the use of the radio stations and radiotelephones), which is not adaptable for data transfer. It is economicallyinefficient to build two parallel radio networks. In this case it is reasonable to complete transceiver only with the modem which coordinates the mic input of the transmitter with digital data and converts the receiver analog output into digital data. Such modems are not separately produced by industry.

The modem operates in a transparent mode that is typical of many systems (monitoring of oil and gas objects, automatic control systems, fire protective signaling). Protocol transparency means that data is transmitted in the broadcast in the sequence of its occurrence without making redundancy. Such radio channels use a high signal and noise ratio. The use of additional measures to improve noise immunity is irrelevant in this case.

Technical characteristics

Supply voltage – 12 V

Transfer speed is from 50 bps to 19,200 bps.

Comparative characteristics of  the suggested modemand existing analogues on the market

1. The suggested modem is two or threetimes cheaper, so far as existing modems contain redundant knots (transceiver).

2. It can be usedin telemetry systems including those with the nonstandard types of FSK modulation (for example, the radio telemetrysystem Estakada-1, that is widely used in many regional power distribution companies Oblenergo).

3. Security and fire safety

4. Securing premises

5. Automated control.

SOFTWARE FOR RELIABILITY SUPPORT OF COMPLEX STRUCTURE SYSTEMS

Software for Reliability support of Complex Structure systems

The developedalgorithmic support and software are used during:

- design and production of modern electronic devices of forth and fifth generations;

- reliability level optimization.

Briefdescription

The development is intended for reliability level improvement of fourth and fifth generation apparatus. It includes methods and software for solving of specific engineering tasks. With the help of developed methods the possibility for solving tasks appears on the design stage. It is connected with the optimal parametric synthesis of components taking into account the quasi-normal character of component parameters distribution. It enables ensuring the necessary reliability level.
With the help of proposed software complex the competitive technique is developed. The effectiveness of all stages of its life cycle increases due to the decrease of production and exploitation costs.

Comparison with analogues

Nowadays the priority line in solving such a task as ensuring of high quality and in particular reliability of technical objects, including radio-electronic devices of different purpose, is development and implementation of methods for ensuring of high tech products with rational consumption of all types recourses and maximum usage ofpotential products options, its production technologies and control. The works of this direction are intensively developing in leading countries throughout the world (USA, Netherlands, Switzerland, France, and Germany). However, the approach of reliability dropping of compatible functioning of components, which carries considerable errors into the real values of product reliability indices, prevails among these works.

MICROPROCESSOR SYSTEM FOR COORDINATE REGISTRATION OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF ELECTRIC POWER OBJECTS ALTRA

MICROPROCESSOR SYSTEM FOR COORDINATE REGISTRATION OF EMERGENCY SITUATIONS OF ELECTRIC POWER OBJECTS ALTRA

Fields of application:

The objects of electric power systems are electric substations of any voltage, power plants of all kinds, distributed systems for various purposes, electrical systems of enterprise networks for different purposes, electrical network systems of railway industry.

The scientific and applied registration principles of the electric coordinates of the stationary, quasistationary and emergency modes have been developed. The basic block which is assigned to register 16 analog and 62 discrete signals has been developed and realized for this purpose. It is possible to register signals in stationary modes and also coordinates of emergency situations. That is automatically carried out when the value of certain coordinate exceeds or decreases with reference to the allowable level of coordinate. The possibility of information loss is practically eliminated because information is recorded in non-volatile memory after the registration. This operation is even performed by total de-energization of the electric power object.

The joining of basic blocks in the system provides registration of emergency situations in the objects of any complexity. The information exchange between basic blocks is carried out according to the RC-485 protocol and information transfer to a higher level of the control hierarchy via a RS-232-RS-485 convector.

Comparison with analogs:

The developed software GRANOS in comparison with famous national and foreign analogues (RETOM, REKOH, SIGRA, etc) has some advantages such as: universality ( that means the possibility of working with information obtained from digital devices of different companies); simple interface that enables users who are not computer experts to quickly learn the principles of the program;multifunctionality, (that is the presence of a set of functions, which are unavailable in existing systems or not enough developed, for example, the synthesis of mode coordinates). This enables the user to thoroughly and comprehensively analyze information obtained from digital devices PZA and also to conduct scientific research.

HIGH-SPEED PROGRAMMED INTELLIGENT INFORMATION AND ANALYTICAL SYSTEM FOR MODELING AND DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT

HIGH-SPEED PROGRAMMED INTELLIGENT INFORMATION AND ANALYTICAL SYSTEM FOR MODELING AND DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT

Software products of the intelligent information and analytical system for modeling and decision-making support on the basis of Geometrical Data Modelling.

Programmed modules of  information and  analytical system

Module А. Gap filling, renewal, pre-processing of tabular data. The completely new method of gap filling and data renewal in tables and time sequences, which is realized on the basis of the design method of point-realization on the object hypersolid. This method substantially prevails the existing methods in exactness of mean substitution, interpolation and extrapolation, and also is a basis for construction of adaptive control models and autonomous intelligent agents.

Drawing.1. Screenshot Module B

Being realized as Microsoft Excel Add-in, it is very simple in use and provides accurate high-fidelity renewal of the missing data in tables and time sequences. The advantage of this product is that a user works with the usual Microsoft Excel interface, and the Module A interface does not require additional technical knowledge.

Module B. Approximation of dependences with essential nonlinearity and sample irregularity. It is based on principles of radial basis functions (RBF). Unlike existent RBF and hybrid networks, GDM RBF models provide optimum combination of reproduction and generalization characteristic, extra polarity, learning on small samples, selection of independent components and visualization. All these principles are realized in the software product Module B, the advantage of which is the possibility of effective work with mass data (tens thousand of vectors, drawing).

The above-mentioned software products are built on the basis of the library developed by the ІТАММ company, which can be also implemented in other software products (e.g. MATLAB® of MathWorks, Inc.)
